Wow!! The students did a beautiful job at their author’s tea on Friday. They worked hard creating individual stories for their audience. We hope you enjoyed these fabulous stories!
We did it! We are so excited to show off our elephant that we made using recyclable plastic bottles. This was an ongoing project with Mrs. Johnson. Out class visited Makerspace on Fridays and began planning together on how to create this masterpiece! Much planing and collaboration was demonstrated throughout this process. The children were very proud of their accomplishment. Thank you for all those who gave us bottles for this project!
The students have been learning about biomimicry! Ask them what this word means and what we have invented thanks to nature! To start off this unit we created a driving board to help generate questions that we were wondering about animal and plant structures and how these structures help them grow and survive.
We enjoyed a fabulous cultural arts program today/ The Tanglewood Marionettes entertained us with a performance of Hansel and Gretal.
